LEAGUE INFORMATION

Mission

Develop players together within their home city. Our goal is to build communities and provide local high schools with athletes that have fundamental skills, chemistry, and great character.

Divisions

Players are placed into divisions based on TALENT FIRST and AGE SECOND.

Division 10 tend to be 5-8 years old
Division 9 tend to be 7-10 years old
Division 8 tend to be 9-12 years old
Division 7 tend to be 12-14 years old
Division 6 tend to be 13-16 years old

If you are unsure of which division to sign up for, CLICK HERE to schedule free skill training evaluation. Our coaching staff will recommend the proper division and skill training appropriate for your child's skill level.

Team Placement

Teams are separated according to cities. There are 6 teams per division and each team carries a maximum of 9 players. Players can be moved up or down through divisions based on the talent pool within their respective city. The best players in the city will play in Division 6, the next best will be placed in Division 7, and so forth.

Pre-Season

It's MANDATORY for all players to attend Pre-Season practice so our coaching staff can evaluate talent and make adjustments to teams and divisions before Week 1. Our goal is to place players in the proper environment and make the league as competitive as possible.

Coaches

The PTBA coaching staff work in unison to develop the entire league as a whole. During practices, coaches teach the "PTBA Curriculum". One coach is designated to  a team for the entire season. But during practices, players work through a series of stations where they will be taught by our entire staff.

Playing Time

Each player is guaranteed 15 minutes of playing time.

Skill Training

All players receive 1 skill training each week to improve individual talent. Classes are offered Monday through Saturday. During off weeks of the league, skill trainings will still be available. Additional skills training also available for purchase. CLICK HERE to purchase more sessions.

Report Cards

All players will receive Report Cards towards the end of the season. Coaches examine ball handling, shooting, passing, defense, and basketball IQ skills throughout the entire season. Exceptionally talented kids will be recommended to try out for our PTBA Club Teams..
